“Crazy” Tim Credeur is an American Mixed Martial Artist and 2nd Degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt. He also has the distinction of being the first BJJ Black Belt in Louisiana and is currently the highest ranked Jiu-Jitsu Practitioner in the state. He is a 5X UFC veteran, Season 7 of Spike TV’s “The Ultimate Fighter” Participant, UFC Fight of the Night Winner and Judo Black Belt.
Despite his many accomplishments his passion remains teaching martial arts and above all, being a husband and father.
Whether he is instructing kids, women or men he remains vigilant to make people into better people through mixed martial arts training. His tireless efforts have changed many people’s lives in and outside of his school, and with over 350 loyal students, Tim Credeur’s Gladiators Academy has become the premier Martial Arts School in South Louisiana.
Coach Blake has been practicing Judo for five years now which he is currently a Green Belt. He has also practiced BJJ for six years and is currently a Purple Belt under Master Tim.
Coach Blake is certified as a Strong First Kettle bell Instructor. He has also specialized in Joint Mobility and Body Weight Exercise. At Gladiators Academy Coach Blake is the Children’s Instructor. He is also a Strength Coach and a Personal Trainer.
Coach Blake attended Louisiana State University and has also attended University of Lafayette where is was a biology student. In 2011 Coach Blake was the Louisiana State Champion Purple Belt. In 2012 he received the open silver Purple Belt. Coach Blake has been married for eleven years and has five children.
Coach Christian Fulgium has been wrestling most all of his life. For twenty-one years he has trained and competed. Coach Christian also trains in Jiu Jitsu. He his currently a Purple Belt under Master Tim Credeur, which he is very proud of. He has also been apart of The Mixed Martial Arts program for seven years now, and has fought twenty-four pro fights.
In High School Coach Christian was a State Champion Wrestler at Benton High School. He was a part of the Ultimate Fighter Season nine contestant. He has had the privilege of being one of the coaches of a MTV’s hit reality show “Caged”. Lastly, he is a Bellator Fighting Championship Veteran.
Coach Christian is Married to Hannah Stutes, and has a two year-old son named Maddox.
Coach Jared began his tutelage under Coach Tim in 2006. As an OG member of the legendary Breaux Bridge Black Belt Academy, Coach Jared was brought up under the old school style training techniques refined by Coach Tim.
Coach Jared is student of the game who is constantly on a quest for knowledge to share with his students. Throughout his 7 years of training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach Jared has been able to train alongside the likes of Rodrigo Medeiros, Julio “Foca” Fernandez, Rey Diogo, Jeff Messina, Johnny Ramirez, Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu, Dean Lister and Ryron Gracie, just to name a few. Coach Jared earned his blue belt in 2008 and was awarded his purple belt in 2010, both under BJJ Revolution Team Black Belt Tim Credeur.
Coach Jared is a certified BJJ Revolution Team Instructor as well as an Alumni of the Freestyle Fighting Academy’s Instructor Training Program. Coach Jared is also an active competitor on the regional BJJ circuit medaling at numerous events such as the LBJJF Louisiana Open and Louisiana State Tournament, Louisiana State Judo Tournament, IBJJF Houston International Open, Gladiator Games, BJJ Revolution Team Uma Familia Tournament, Cajun Kumite, Battle of H-Town and Gulf Coast Classic.
Coach Jared married Ms. Abby Meaux in November of 2012. He holds a bachelors degree in English from the University of Louisiana. While not on the mats, Coach Jared is either penning the latest installment of “BJJ Lafayette” (www.bjjlafayette.com) or at work where he is a legal consultant and private investigator for a local law firm.
Coach Kyle was born and raised on a rice farm in the swamp land south of Gueydan, LA. He attributes his toughness and work ethic to the years of physical labor and his life on the farm.
In 1998, while studying at the University Southwest Louisiana to obtain his bachelors degree in Accounting, Coach Kyle discovered his passion for martial arts. After becoming a member of the USL Judo squad, he trained and competed for 4 years. Along the way, he won multiple tournaments, including two state championships. Coach Kyle was awarded his judo brown belt in 2002 as says he is proud to be a seasoned judoka.
As one of the very first members of Gladiators Academy, Coach Kyle began his jiu jitsu training under Coach Tim Credeur in 2008. Inspired to be the very best he can be, Coach Kyle teaches, trains and competes regularly. He considers jiu jitsu to be a very special part of his life. He hopes to have the same longevity as BJJ Revolution Team Co-founder Julio “Foca” Fernandez.
Along with being a certified BJJ Revolution Team Instructor and an Alumni of the Freestyle Fighting Academy’s Instructor Training Program, Coach Kyle has been married for 10 years to his wife Candice and is a also a practicing CPA (certified public accountant) with over 10 years of professional experience.
Coach Aaron is a lifelong martial artist with a 4th Degree Black Belts in Taekwondo, Green Belt in Judo and Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has also traveled extensively around the world training Boxing, Wrestling and Muay Thai.
Coach Aaron is the kids Muay Thai Instructor and also teaches in the CAP Muay Thai clasess as well.
Coach Eli was born in Israel, graduated from Olympic High School in Bremerton, WA and now lives in Lafayette, LA with his beautiful wife Reesa, his 9 year old daughter Elyse (who also trains at Gladiators) and his soon-to-be born son Zev. He is a Blue Belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and Yellow Belt in Judo under Master Tim Credeur and has been training with him for over 4 years. Coach Eli is also a multiple time disk golf champion as well.
He has won multiple BJJ tournaments: 2011-12 Louisiana Open Blue Belt Champion, 2011 Louisiana State Blue Belt Champion, IBJJF Silver Medalist Blue Belt Division Houston 2012, and many other at White and Blue Belt. He has trained with some of the most elite practitioners in the world including Rodrigo Medeiros, Ryon Gracie, Julio Fernandez, Rey Diogo, Forrest Griffin, Jeff Messina, Davi Ramos, Damian Maia, Yves Edwards and many others.
Coach Eli is a graduate of the FFA Instructor Training Course in Miami, and is one of the Top Kids Instructors in the State. Master Tim appointed him the BJJ Revolution Team Kids Instructor Ambassador in the South.
His favorite quote is “We talk so much about leaving a better planet to our kids that we ofter forget about leaving better kids to this planet. Educate your children and teach them Jiu-Jitsu.”
